All students, especially disadvantaged youth, need access to high-quality STEM learning opportunities to spark their interest in STEM careers and to be better prepared for them. Expanded learning settings provide excellent opportunities to actively engage students in STEM learning. Every Hour Counts partners have worked to promote the integration of STEM outside the traditional school day and have developed resources to assist with designing and improving the quality of these activities.
